Brock
Phillips is a 1980 Hastings College of the Law graduate and an experienced trial and
appellate attorney specializing in the areas of medical malpractice, insurance bad faith,
physician licensing, credentialing, peer review, and antitrust, general business law, and
toxic tort defense.
He
has published articles on physician disciplinary hearings, punitive damages, and wrongful
termination, is a frequent speaker on medical-legal topics including liability for managed
care plans for medical malpractice, loss prevention and peer review, and is a member of
the Governing Board of the California Society of Healthcare Attorneys and is a Regional
Vice President of the California Academy of Attorneys for Health Care Professionals.
